Michael Böhme
Michael Böhme, geb. 1943, lebt in Konstanz am Bodensee, Deutschland.
Die Hauptthemen seiner Malerei sind symbolische Darstellungen von menschlichen Gefühlen und Erlebnissen sowie von unserer bedrohten Umwelt. Wesentliche Themen sind auch das Universum (Space Art) und die Poesie der Landschaft.
Michael Böhme ist Mitglied des Konstanzer Kunstvereins, der Esslinger Künstlergilde, Inter-Art Stuttgart, eine von Professoren der Kunstakademie Stuttgart gegründete Künstlervereinigung und gwähltes Fellow Mitglied der Internationalen Vereinigung Astronomischer Maler (IAAA).
Seine Werke hängen in privaten und öffentlichen Kunstsammlungen und werden in internationalen Ausstellungen und Veröffentlichungen gezeigt. (u.a. Europaparlament Straßburg,Frankreich; Umweltministerium Baden- Württemberg,Deutschland; ESA, Noordwijk, Niederlande (EuropäischeRaumfahrtbehörde); National Institute of Health - Bethesda-Washington, USA; Art Institute of Chicago,USA)
Zwei seiner Werke nahmen an Weltraumflügen teil:
1995:Teilnahme an der ersten Kunstausstellung im All auf der MIR-Weltraumstation.
2003: zwei Drucke verbrannten an Bord der verunglückten Raumfähre Columbia

Michael Böhme
Michael Böhme, born 1943, lives in Constance, Germany near the lake of Constance.
Symbolic depictions of human feelings and experiences and our threatened environment are the main themes of his art. Our universe (space art) and the poetry of landscapes are important themes as well.
Michael Böhme is a member of the Constance Art Association, the Esslingen Art Guild, the Artists Association:Inter Art Stuttgart, founded by professors of the Art Academy of Stuttgart and elected Fellow Member of the International Association of Astronomical Artists.
His art hangs in private and public collections and is shown in exhibitions and publications in Germany and abroad. e.g. European Parliament Strassbourg,France; Ministry for Enviroment of Baden Württemberg , Germany; Esa Noordwijk, Netherlands; National Institut of Health,Bethesda-Washington,USA;Art Institute of Chicago, USA;
Two of his paintings have been in space:
1995,participant of the first exhibition in space on the Mir Space Station.
2003,two prints were on board of the burnt up space shuttle Columbia.
